Hi, I’m Sara-Rene

I’m a Nurse

— a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Birth Assistant with a passion for supporting families through one of life’s most transformative experiences.

I began my nursing career in 2016, starting in Postpartum Care before finding my true calling in Labor and Delivery. Since 2018, I’ve had the honor of supporting over 1,000 births as a bedside nurse, witnessing the incredible strength of birthing women.

I am double board-certified in Obstetric and Fetal Monitoring Nursing, which allows me to combine evidence-based knowledge with a calm, grounded presence at the bedside. Outside the hospital, I also serve as a Birth Assistant at home births alongside midwives.

I’m a Wife and Mom

I’m a proud mom of nine! — five children I carried and birthed and four incredible bonus children.

My own birth experiences have shaped my heart for this work. I’ve had two Cesarean births followed by three unmedicated vaginal births, and each one taught me something about strength, surrender, the power of birth and support.

I understand firsthand that every birth unfolds differently, and I bring that perspective into every space I enter — holding compassion for all paths, all choices, and all families.

I’m an Educator

In addition to my clinical and birth support work, I’m also a Childbirth and Newborn Care educator.

Teaching expectant parents is one of my favorite parts of what I do :)

When families understand what to expect and feel confident in their choices, they can approach birth and parenthood with calm, trust, and empowerment.

I Help Moms & Their Partners

My goal is to always provide informed, loving, and individualized doula care — honoring birth as both a safe medical event and a sacred life experience.

I offer emotional, physical, and educational support through pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
